Bring Suggestions and Concerns About Public Safety and SB91

Friday, March 2, 2017, Juneau, Alaska – The Mat-Su Delegation invites locals to join the conversation about public safety and SB91 during a 3-hour town hall this weekend. The Alaska Judicial Commission and Department of Public Safety, Law and Corrections will also be there to answer questions and hear from people in the community.

Representatives Mark Neuman (R-Big Lake), David Eastman (R-Wasilla) and Senators Shelley Hughes (R-Palmer) and David Wilson (R-Wasilla) will be there to  give brief remarks at the start of the event and then open the forum to Alaskans. Rep. Mark Neuman says he’s looking forward to hearing from neighbors in the valley.

"My job is to take your concerns and suggestions down to Juneau. I'm there to act on your behalf," says Rep. Neuman.

Rep. Eastman says, “Public safety demands our attention. It affects every single one of us and is absolutely something we must get right.”

The Town Hall will be held at the Menard Sports Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday March 4. Parking is free and water, coffee and snacks will be provided.
